Great unique and funky place right off of the C&O canal trail. Upstairs restaurant was very busy, so we opted for the lower level. Upstairs has a more expansive menu. Got a beer in a paper cup! Also got a sloppy joe that was pretty good. My wife got the turkey wrap and it was pretty good as well. I love all of the random "junke" all around. Nice to see a place that hasn't been sterilized by a giant corporation.

Definitely worth the stop! Glad I listened to the billboard. We loved everything - food, service, atmosphere. So dog friendly. My pup refuses to eat when we are on road trips but he ate here. Side note.., I didn't have to waste 10 min in the cold trying to work the parking app. Parking is free (at least in the winter).

What a great little restaurant! Easy to access from our road trip. Our server, Stephenie, was fantastic! Update: We stopped for lunch on our way back through Maryland and got the Pork Belly BLT, and Vegetarian “chicken” and waffles. They substituted a lions mane patty for the chicken and it was fantastic! We will definitely back if we’re ever in Maryland again.

I love this place!!! The food is delicious. The portions are generous. The staff is superb. And the vibe is half nostalgic and half kitschy. If you're even near Hancock it's well worth the stop.

Great vibe, great food! Really enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, Cream of Crab soup, and Crab Fries. My wife had the Crabcake sandwich and enjoyed it as well. We had attentive and friendly service, couldn't ask for more.

Just meandering our way home from South Carolina. Drove through town and stopped for lunch at someplace close and found Buddy Lou's, hesitated at first but was glad we went in. Charming as ever, great food, great service, cutest restaurant. Wife loved it, she's a little artsy herself. Oh, and a bar to match

First time eating here and it was such a nice experience. They were empty so service was fast. Everyone was friendly who interacted with us. The food came out pretty quick and was obviously fresh. The fries and potatoes were delicious and I loved the chicken sand which. My boyfriend had a side salad before his crab cake dinner and it was super fresh and he absolutely loved the ranch lol The antique area is small, but has so many interesting things still! Was fun to walk around. There is also so many fun dog themed treats and items for your dog I got a scoop of cake batter ice cream/custard and it was so tasty and creamy. I definitely recommend visiting! Sadly couldn't bring the pup because we were running errands and stopped on our way home.

Cool restaurant/antique/gift store that welcomes dogs!!! The food was delicious, the staff was warm and friendly and the atmosphere delightful. Our 110 lb yellow lab was welcomed with open arms and a menu of his own. We will be back! Dining inside and out great soft ice cream. Pup cups too:-)
